Yoga Instructor 07890 734782 sue@suenash.co.uk Yoga Workshops
For the complete novice - an introduction to Hatha Yoga. This session will give the beginner a gentle introduction to yoga, aswell as a more advanced level for people who've practised yoga before. It will involve some stretching, toning and breathing exercises which will leave the participant feeling more invigorated, flexible and relaxed. Everyone works at their own pace in a non-competitive environment.
This class is a more vigorous, fitness-based approach to yoga. The term Power Yoga came into common usage in the mid 1990s, when several yoga teachers were looking for a way to make Ashtanga Yoga more accessible to a western audience. Unlike Ashtanga, Power Yoga does not follow a set series of poses but has an emphasis on strength and flexibility. The advent of Power Yoga heralded yoga’s current popularity, as people began to see yoga as a way to work out.
